SIGN AFRICA SUCCESS IN CAPE TOWN
Sign Africa Cape Town, which took place from Wednesday 21 May to Thursday 22 May 2008, ended with rave reviews from visitors and exhibitors alike. This year saw an increase of exhibitor stands from 70 in 2007 to 110 (9sqm) for 2008 as well as an increase in the volume of visitors coming through the doors.

OSRAM BREAKFAST PRESENTATION
Osram recently returned from the 5th Light + Building Fair in Frankfurt, where their new, enlarged stand received an estimated 100,000 visitors. The Osram stand featured a vast range of new products and applications that were brought from Frankfurt to South Africa in the form of a breakfast presentation to the local market and press on Thursday 29 May, at Emperors Palace Casino in Johannesburg.

VEHICULAR BRANDING IN SOUTH AFRICA
Vehicular branding in South Africa has grown enormously over the past eight years; finally fleet owners or operators are realising the benefits thereof. Woolworths currently advertise extensively on a fleet of trailers that operates nationwide, Joburg Metro Bus have also made a substantial number of their fleet available for branding or advertising.

INFOCOMM & NXTCOMM PAIR UP IN VEGAS
For the first time, the annual InfoComm and NXTcomm conferences/trade shows will appear together in Las Vegas. Located side-by-side in the Las Vegas Convention Centre, the joint appearance will let delegates discover the latest in A/V technology at InfoComm 08, then see how this content can be distributed via IP-based distribution at NXTcomm08.
