SIGN AFRICA 2009 REGIONAL SHOWS LAUNCHED
Practical Publishing recently hosted their annual year-end dinner at Creaky Tree in Johannesburg, where the Sign Africa 2009 regional floor plans were unveiled. The international Sign Africa 2009 Johannesburg floor plans will be revealed before End November.

SIGNAFRICA.COM REPORTS HIGHEST EVER WEB TRAFFIC
The Sign Africa website saw visitor traffic soar to its highest number during the month of September 2008, boosted by the opening of Sign Africa Johannesburg and The Africa In-Store 2008 exhibition. The statistics showed that over 20 000 people visited the website in total with over 9000 of these registering as unique visitors. A record 416 000 pages were viewed during the bumper month with an average of 20 pages viewed per single visitor.

BYTES DOCUMENT SOLUTIONS HELPS BUILD HOMES FOR THE HOMELESS
Bytes Document Solutions, a Bytes Technology Group company, wholly owned by Altron, and the authorised distributor of Xerox products and solutions to 24 African countries, has joined forces with ABSA, Habitat for Humanity, and other leading businesses to build 34 houses in Orange Farm, Stretford. As such, it has helped alleviate the vast housing shortfall of South Africa.

3M HOSTS ‘STANDARDS FOR PRINT EXCELLENCE’ WORKSHOP
On Wednesday, 19 November 2008, 3M will be hosting a full-day workshop and exhibition, presenting a variety of alternative branding solutions. Advertising Agencies are offered the opportunity to see what printing excellence means to print buyers, while printers will gain knowledge of the steps required to produce superior prints and reduce re-dos. PRIMALL MEDIA ASSISTS IN NELSON MANDELA COIN LAUNCH
Shopping Mall advertising specialists, Primall Media, has signed a 12 month contract with the South African Gold Coin Exchange (SAGCE) to launch its historic Nelson Mandela Coin and to announce the opening of two new Scoin retail outlets at Cavendish and Gateway shopping centres.

COMUTANET SHAKES UP COMMUTERS’ AROMAT AWARENESS
As part of a long-term awareness drive, South African favourite seasoning, Aromat has commissioned ComutaNet to brand a national fleet of 66 taxis to relay to consumers that Aromat is the ideal companion for their choice of meal, at any time of the day.

MARUBENI AWARDS PALM JUMEIRAH MONORAIL SIGNAGE CONTRACT TO ADVENTURE DIGITAL
Marubeni Corporation, the contractor for Palm Jumeirah Monorail, has commissioned Adventure Digital LLC, a Dubai based company specialising in digital signage solutions and digital printing, to install digital signage at the Palm Jumeirah Monorail stations.
