According to research, Menlyn will expose 6 500 000 consumers to the LG’s advertising over the four month campaign spanning September to December 2008.
COMUTANET MAKES BRANDING HISTORY ComutaNet is the first media owner in South Africa to brand a fully integrated shopping mall and taxi rank, doing so on behalf of leading mobile operator Cell C. Realising the positive impact which a centralised transport and retail node has on commuter behaviour and spending patterns, ComutaNet acquired the advertising rights to brand the taxi rank in the basement of the Bloed Street Mall in Pretoria’s highly valued CBD.
ACA ON PROPOSED ALCOHOL ADVERTISING BAN Should Government's proposed amendment to the National Road Traffic Regulations be passed, it would mean that all alcohol product advertisements or any advertisement depicting alcohol products on a variety of media will be banned. Odette Roper, CEO of the Association for Communication and Advertising (ACA) examines the proposed regulation and sheds light on the effect it is likely to have on the advertising profession.
