SIGN AFRICA ATTRACTS BIG SPENDERS IN THE EASTERN CAPE
Exhibitors at the recent Sign Africa 2009 product day in Port Elizabeth, could only offer positive feed back on the quality of the 315 visitors that attended, arriving from all corners of the Eastern Cape and even further a field. Almost all visitors were there with a purpose, resulting in multiple sales and lists of solid leads.

JETSEAL SUCCESS AT SIGN AFRICA PORT ELIZABETH
Jetseal has reported that exhibiting at the recent Sign Africa Port Elizabeth show was hugely successful. The company confirmed that 22 new clients were discovered, all from within the Eastern Cape region and that they received a large amount of attention on their new product, the Bugatti-FRB non-curl PVC, officially launched at the show. A lot of interest was also shown in the company’s new range of roller banner systems, which they were offering in both black and silver.

At the recent Sign Africa show in Port Elizabeth, Intamarket featured, among other products, 3M’s new Scotchcal Graphic Film for Textured Surfaces, a durable, dimensionally stable vinyl film, with pressure-sensitive adhesive that adheres immediately to the substrate. Ideal for walls and columns in arenas, stadiums, restaurants, malls and other public spaces, the film conforms and moulds over indoor and outdoor textured, painted or unpainted surfaces while remaining flexible enough to wrap around columns.

MACTAC IMAGIN JT 5000 PRINTING MEDIA
Nine MACtac printing media from the IMAGin JT 5000 series for digital inkjet printing have been tested and profiled using ONYX and CALDERA RIP software on the newly launched HP Designjet L 65500 printer. HP odourless Latex Inks have been used for the product test. MACtac helps HP Designjet L 65500 users to reduce the impact of printing on the environment while keeping high quality prints and saving drying time.

My Wrist Bling
It’s technically a bracelet but it tells time so that makes it a watch, but it also handles calls which means it’s a mobile phone. When someone calls, the bracelet rings and/or vibrates. The entire face pops out as a wireless headset without sacrificing a screen since there’s a secondary LCD. Both LCDs are touch enabled.

Pixel Perfect Hour Glass
Society has moved way beyond need for one of the most ancient of technologies, the sand filled hour glass. Designer Pavel Balykin believes this very retro timepiece is on schedule for a comeback.It’s fittingly called the “Sand+Time Watch” and has the distinct feature of a digital hour glass screen saver mode.
