A California-based BMW dealership recently hired Los Angeles-based audio/video custom installation firm DSI Entertainment Systems to upgrade their facilities. The installation features high-brightness Digital Projection TITAN 1080p projectors that enable the dealership to display digital messages and high-definition video in key high-traffic locations.
The main showroom features two large rear projection systems with Digital Projection Titan 1080p-700 projectors beaming onto custom rear projection screens. Cleverly concealed within recessed spaces in the ceiling, the TITAN projectors are virtually invisible to dealership clients. The suspended screens seemingly float above the showroom as they display BMW commercials and product videos.
In order to capitalise on the dealership’s prime location overlooking the 101 Ventura freeway, a massive piece of Stewart StarGlas serves as a huge digital billboard. Three edge-blended dVision 30-1080p projectors feed marketing materials and dealer messaging to the impressive StarGlas panel. Additionally, a Crestron control system automates nearly all aspects of the dealership, including the projected content, a Lutron lighting system, distributed audio, and the various video displays throughout.
Advanced AV equipment also allows the Rusnak dealership to deliver added value to both clients and team members. A dedicated JBL Synthesis® Digital Home Theatre system featuring a Digital Projection dVision 30-1080p projector allows visitors to watch HD movies via a Kaleidescape player. In regards to team building, another dVision projector enables team training sessions and product presentations in conjunction with a Polyvision interactive smartboard.
‘The Rusnak BMW dealership is regularly realising new ways to utilise their dynamic AV system. Not only can they now capitalise on the full array of marketing support supplied by BMW corporate, they’ve also found ways to enhance existing operations.’ Said Brent Wiseman, COO of DSI Entertainment Systems. ‘Whether they’re advertising dealer incentives to the commuters on the freeway or controlling their showroom lighting with the touch of a button, Rusnak BMW is using advanced AV to better their business.
