TAKING NOTE OF MY MAIN MOJO

Design and creative industry heavyweight Mohammed Jogie has left Adobe Systems where he played numerous roles including Design Evangelist and Regional Manager in MEA and Mediterranean regions. He cites his focus on authoring books and a return to his creative work as reason for leaving the company. ‘Adobe has been a great brand to have been associated with and should continue to do well,’ he says.

Jogie is a veteran in the design world, having served on numerous boards including think, Icograda, Café, Funda and others. He is working toward a creative ecosystem that spans the developing world, ‘where all can play.’

He elaborates further, ‘My view is that as offerings for the creative evolves, a greater layer of complexity evolves alongside it. Writers, designers, art directors, artists and their clients need to decipher this complexity and attempt to extract value, sometimes with a high degree of frustration and often-times at unreasonably high cost.

‘A platform that helps us facilitate the best of creativity across the emerging markets will be where we’ll be putting our energies in the coming months and years. Blank canvasses have a lot to fear too,’ Jogie continues.

My main mojo will be the primary brand under which he will work. This brand will be offering solutions to the professional market. 2mato an online education portal will serve the learning needs of creatives in an inexpensive, no-nonsense manner. Talent is being sought for the creation of content across the region.
