SCREEN-TECH USE PERSPEX® VISION TO CREATE UNIQUE SCREENS WITH PERFECT VISION

Screen-Tech are a German manufacturer of unique, high quality, front and rear projection screens and are renowned for leading the market in the development of new and ever improving front and rear projection screens for use in commercial, retail and other marketing applications. And the reason they can offer the best quality screen projection? They worked with Lucite International to develop a special grade of Perspex® Vision, which they use to create unique projection screens with excellent clarity, superb visibility and pinpoint, high definition.

Professional image
With more than 25 years experience in the projection screens business, Screen–Tech were pioneers in the use of opalised acrylic projection screens. The latest addition to their portfolio of innovative products is the high spec ‘ST Professional’ range which uses a specially developed grade of Perspex® Hi Vision to create perfect, crisp 3D images using polarised light from a single light source.

The new Screen–Tech range is ideal for use in venues such as retail outlets, rail and air terminals, exhibitions and indoor and outdoor arenas – anywhere in fact where the image has to be sharp, the colour reproduction excellent and the screen slim and unobtrusive.

On-stage drama
Using Perspex® Vision in their screens allows Screen-Tech to achieve fantastic results for their customers.

Those customers of course include those you might expect, such as retail, exhibitions and other commercial sectors, as well as some you might not, including Universities in Caen, France and Biel/Bienne in Switzerland. A recent example is a versatile, changeable backdrop for a modern interpretation of King Lear on stage at the Komische Oper (Comic Opera) in Berlin.

3D Technology
In the field of industrial design, Perspex® Vision has also been used to great effect in three dimensional structures that enable project engineers to literally get inside their designs.

This ensures that, in fields such as automotive design, extensive testing and adjustments can be made before costly prototyping begins.

All round vision
Screen-Tech can be justly proud of the exceptional quality and design features found in their range of front and rear projection screens.

The screens offer an impressive 160 degree viewing angle, are easy to install, and are robust and hardwearing when in - situ. They are easy to clean and maintain and as they are made from Perspex® and have no coatings or laminates they can be fully recycled.
