Emirates has extended its exclusive contract with SP Media until June 2011 at 13 Action Sports Arenas. Adshel has unveiled an eye-catching campaign for the Adelaide Film Festival. The campaign, created by Adshel, Clemenger BBDO and Mediaedge CIA, saw a busy Adelaide bus shelter turned into a mini movie theatre, complete with plush seats, popcorn and a movie attendant.
LET'S TALK WEB FACTS
Using concepts from earlier hypertext systems, English engineer and computer scientist Sir Tim Berners-Lee, now the Director of the World Wide Web Consortium, wrote a proposal in March 1989 for what would eventually become the World Wide Web.
"The World-Wide Web (W3) was developed to be a pool of human knowledge, and human culture, which would allow collaborators in remote sites to share their ideas and all aspects of a common project."
Les Horribles Cernettes' picture was the first photographic image to be published on the World Wide Web in 1992.
The World Wide Web's historic logos was designed by Robert Cailiau.
