The vehicle manufacturer has selected Primall Media to draw the attention of upper LSM KZN commuters and shoppers to take a peek at its three latest models. The campaign takes centre stage on Primall’s large-format exterior billboard at the Gateway shopping centre.
CAMPUS MEDIA TAKE TOP HONOURS AT 2011 OH! AWARDS
Primedia’s student marketing gurus' campaign executed for Nestle KIT KAT Chunky scooped up wins in the street furniture category as well as the overall category. The campaign encouraged students to 'have a break' on branded benches subtly included in the 'natural' campus environment at eight university campuses throughout South Africa.
ANC USES COMUTANET FOR ELECTION CAMPAIGN
The leading party took a holistic approach to engaging the 19.4 million commuters in the two months preceding voting day on 18 May 2011. Taxis and busses across the country were splashed with the vibrant party colours and the campaign slogan 'a better life for all'. In addition, the high impact Comuta Radio and Rank TV media were used to help educate commuters as to the ruling party’s pledge for service delivery going forward.
BIZCOMMUNITY LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE
The revamped site features a host of new features - from an expanded set of self promotional tools such as personal profiles appearing on the website and newsletter front pages, to the ability to find, follow, subscribe and share with your favourite industry personalities and opinion leaders.

Geneva Ad Display Systems, which exhibited for the first time at the Cape Town Roadshow, launched its Moonlight Frameless LED Panel and TexFlex Fabric Lightbox, both of which were very well received by some of the 1600 visitors to the expo, which took place from 11-12 May.

The 1449sqm powerful building wrap is situated in the heart of Pretoria CBD, connecting BlackBerry with high volumes of traffic and pedestrians. The site was selected on its merits through Starcom MediaVest Group in collaboration with NuVenture Media.

TLC ENJOYS SIGNIFICANT GROWTH IN WASHROOM ADVERTISING SPACE
The company has introduced an increased ad space portfolio of 70 malls and 60 cinemas nationwide. Its washroom frame holding alone offers advertisers over 22 000 consumer touch points across the country.
NEDBANK AND GOLF UNLIMITED TARGET GOLFERS VIA GPS SCREENS
Nedbank Corporate and Nedbank Capital are targeting LSM 14+ consumers via Golf Unlimited. Both client-facing business clusters will be running an advertising campaign on the media owner’s golf cart GPS screens. For 12 months, the campaigns, showcased on 1 124 GPS screens, will be exposed to the crème de la crème of consumers at leisure on 32 premier golf courses.

The shopping centre, marketed by Unlimited subsidiary Primedia Lifestyle, was voted first in its category by the Sunday Times Generation Next Survey Awards. The winners of the survey's ‘coolest brands’ are selected based on a robust, national, quantitative research study conducted by HDI Youth Marketeers in conjunction with the Sunday Times.
MEDIA24'S MAGAZINE DIVISION RE-SIGNS WITH OASIS
The media company re-signed their holding at Cape Town International Airport with concessionaire Oasis Outdoor Media. The glass doors and barriers in the 'Meet and Greet' area in the domestic arrivals area of the terminal again feature Media 24's range of titles.

CLOVER BILLBOARD SHIMMERS
The shimmering billboard has been placed on Continental Outdoor Media's 4m x 10m billboard on William Nicol Drive. The campaign will run from May to July.
OASIS SIGNS THE TIMES FOR STAND AT CAPE TOWN AIRPORT
The company signed client The Times for one of its new freestanding locations at Cape Town International Airport. Of the five available key locations which the company negotiated with the airport for it’s new freestanding billboard offering, four have already been booked.

In the image on the right, a relevant shape has been subtracted to the word. It is very easy to do it yourself.

First launch Indesign, start a new document and type the word 'CATS'. Convert the word to outlines. With the type selected, navigate to Objec/Paths/Release Compound Path. Place a vector outline of a cat over the 'C', select both, and choose Object/Pathfinder/Subtract.
