VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS AFRICA EXPO A SUCCESS
Over 6300 visitors attended the expo, which took place from 24-26 August. There were over 70 exhibitors dedicated to Visual Communications for the end user of all things branding and signage.

VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS AFRICA STEPS UP FOR CHARITY
Expo organisers Practical Publishing, suppliers and exhibitors stepped up for charity at the expo. Practical Publishing pledged one cent for every step taken by members of their team, Oasys Exhibitions, Lodge Security, In House Exhibitions, Be Bold Consulting, Maizey Plastics and Roland, who all took on the challenge to wear pedometers. Over two million steps were taken during the expo and R20 452 will be donated to NSRI, Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre and Rotary.
WORLD SIGNS WINS AVERY/ROLAND WRAP OFF COMPETITION
After five hours of vehicle wrapping, World Signs were crowned the winners of the competition, sponsored by Avery Dennison and Roland. The company won R25 000.
MAIZEY PLASTICS LAUNCHES NEW FOM+ AT VISUAL COMMUNICTIONS AFRICA EXPO
FOM+ SPS is a lightweight product consisting of a polystyrene foam inner core and outer layer of polystyrene. It is an excellent material for flatbed digital printing. It is available in thicknesses of 3mm and 5mm in white matt.

The company has signed up as a distributor of GE Lighting Solutions and showcased its lighting systems at the expo.
SCAN DISPLAY SHOWCASES UNIBOX TENSION FABRIC SYSTEM AT VISUAL COMMUNICTIONS AFRICA EXPO
The system allows simple fitting and removal of tension fabric graphics. Frames are simple to assemble using just one tool. There is a range of freestanding flat display panels in various standard sizes or bespoke and an integral system channel allows for easy attachment of accessories.
BIG MEDIA SHOWCASES NESCHEN EVENT FLEECE AT VISUAL COMMUNICTIONS AFRICA EXPO
This removable self-adhesive wallpaper is PVC free and bio-degradable. It is suitable for eco and full solvent inks. It is successfully used in Europe on exhibition stands and standard wall applications.
PROVANTAGE PROMOTES KELLOGG’S CORN FLAKES
The company is currently taking the famous Kellogg’s rooster to consumers with a number of taxi fleets decorated with the Corn Flakes brand elements. The campaign creative shows the Kellogg’s Family Connection, with the branding of interior flat panels, side strips and taxi wraps.
GRAFFITI REBRANDS 94.7 AND KFM GROUND PATROL VEHICLES
The loyal 94.7 Highveld Stereo and K-fm Ground Patrol followers will have to keep their eyes peeled for all-new, freshly-branded vehicles because vehicle branding company Graffiti has recently re-branded six new Kia Souls that now form part of this long-standing promotion. Listeners need to spot one of the vehicles in the traffic and phone in to report its location to stand in line to win fabulous prizes.
