Provantage has given Burger King a 'whopper' of a campaign, with advertising that harnesses the reach and impact of an array of media channels. Further to the fast food outlet's launch, which had South African celebrities serving burgers to consumers, the multi-national restaurant chain is creating awareness of its famous Whopper Burger across Transit TV, IRT Station, Bus branding and PRASA train station branding.

Provantage created a teaser which posed various challenges to taxi commuters and which appeared on the interior front panels of taxis travelling in and around Soweto to herald a Jungle Oats activation at a local shopping mall.

Primedia Unlimited’s Primall Media has generated awareness for BlackBerry’s Z10. Primall Media’s BlackBerry campaign kicked off in February, with a teaser campaign to generate awareness around BlackBerry’s new proposition that was soon to be launched in South Africa. The campaign continues with new creative which talks to the new Z10’s features.
ZONKE LAUNCHES NEW ZAZI WOMEN’S CAMPAIGN
Communications group Joe Public, in partnership with client JHHESA (Johns Hopkins Health and Education in South Africa), have created a new national women’s campaign featuring singer Zonke, addressing South African girls and women affected by issues such as gender-based violence, inter-generational sex, teen pregnancy and HIV/AIDS.
TLC TARGETS GYM-GOERS WITH DOOR WRAP CAMPAIGN
The triaction by Triumph advertising campaign, executed by Primedia Unlimited’s TLC business, targeted 591000 consumers, from the beginning of February to the end of April, with 472 800 of these actually engaging with the advertising creative at 15 Planet Fitness and 35 Curves gyms across the country.
