FESPA AFRICA TAKES THE BRAND INTO KEY FUTURE PRINT MARKET
FESPA is expanding its global event portfolio into another key future print market, with the launch of FESPA Africa. The first FESPA Africa event will take place from 2-4 July 2014 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.

SABC3 GETS PEOPLE WATCHING WITH GRAFFITI BUS CAMPAIGN
Graffiti is getting viewers psyched for new shows its SABC bus branding campaigns. The popular American musical reality show The Sing Off saw five buses – three in Johannesburg and one each in Durban and Cape Town - branded to alert commuters and road users to the new reality series. This was followed shortly thereafter by season two of SABC3’s popular reality-based series Ultimate Braai Master where this time the number of branded buses was increased to nine.
SCAN DISPLAY WINS 2013 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AWARD
Paris-based UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, presented Scan Display with the 2013 Sustainable Development Award for the South African Climate Change Response Expo hosted at COP17 in November 2011. UFI selected Scan Display’s entry as the winner of the 'Best Innovative Environmental Initiative' award based on 'Scan Display’s full approach to sustainability in this challenging project which started from a parking lot and ended up as a comprehensive concept'.

The Advertising Media Association of South Africa (AMASA) in conjunction with the Association of Advertising Agencies (AAA), will run their annual part time media management course, which begins on 16th July and will run for a period of six months.
